Call for Papers
“Bringing Nanotechnology to a Prosperous Knowledge Era”
The 3rd International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology -2016 (ICNSNT-2016) will be held during 15th-16th of December 2016 in Sri Lanka, under the theme of “Bringing Nanotechnology to a Prosperous Knowledge Era”. ICNSNT continued its’ momentum from 2014 to explore the emerging advances in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. The ICNSNT-2016 will deliver an Executive Round Table Discussions, an Exhibition, Special Sessions, a Social Networking Dinner, a Cultural Show And an optional Post Conference Tour.
Chemists, Physicists, Material Scientists, Biomedical Researchers, Engineers and other Researchers who are active at the frontiers of this diverse and multidisciplinary field are encouraged to spread knowledge through the ICNSNT-2016 in a global platform.

Profile:
Prof. C.N.R. Rao (born on 30 June 1934, Bangalore, India) is the National Research Professor as well as Honorary President and Linus Pauling Research Professor at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research. He is also an Honorary Professor at the Indian Institute of Science. His main research interests are in solid state and materials chemistry. He is an author of over 1650 research papers and 50 books.

Profile:
Mohan Edirisinghe was awarded his first degree in Materials with first class honors from the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka, subsequently he gained his masters (with distinction), doctorate and a DSc from the University of Leeds. He has held academic positions in several universities (Sri Lanka, New South Wales – Australia, Loughborough and Queen Mary, University of London where he held a Chair in Materials).
Prof. Morinobu ENDO
“The applications of carbon nano-tubes for the sustainable world”

Profile:
Dr. Morinobu Endo is Professor of Shinshu University (Faculty of Engineering, Shinshu University, 4-17-1 Wakasato, Nagano 380-8553, Japan). His current work ranges from basic science to applications of various forms of carbons; carbon nanotubes, new forms of carbon and graphite, nano-porous carbons, graphite intercalation compounds, Li ion battery, electric double layer capacitors. After receiving a M.S. degree from Shinshu University, he obtained a Ph.D. from Nagoya University.

Profile:
Prof. K.M. Nalin de silva is a Professor in Chemistry at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. He obtained his B.Sc.(Chemistry, First Class, 1992) from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and Ph.D. (1997) from the University of Cambridge, UK. He has gained postdoctoral experience from University of Cambridge(1998) and Louisiana State University, USA (2005 – 2007).

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES
All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book with ISBN. After the conference, all accepted full papers will be published electronically with ISSN (ISSN 2424-6735) in proceedings with a DOI number. We will submit the proceedings to be indexed in the Thomson Reuters, SCOPUS, Mendeley, Google scholar, CiteULike and Cross ref for possible Indexing. (Authors of accepted abstracts wishing to publish the full paper in the proceedings or one of the supporting journals should submit the full paper by 10 January 2017.)
